P is also for Pearls

I am thankful that friends of mine introduced me to the Pearl market in the Hongqiao section of Shanghai; it is a lovely place to see the permutations of colors and arrangements of pearls- and there are many. I am even more thankful for another set of friends who introduced me to another, closer pearl market that has all of (thanks ALOT for the addiction- you know who you are- may your sleep be troubled- well, maybe just a little) However, given my love for them, I am most grateful for the fact that my first time there, was nearly two years after I had first arrived in this town- I think that I might have saved some money... I have, of course, paid it forward to others.
