SNOW!!

Yesterday, while I was in Cloud Nine shopping mall, just tooling around, it started to snow. This time it was the wetter, bigger snow flaked variety that still does not stick to the ground. It was however, the persistent kind; it snowed all day. I guess that the temperatures overnight must have dipped below freezing, because we woke up to a white Shanghai this morning. I just had to take some photos to share with you. These were taken from the bedroom balcony.







Is winter over yet?? Forecast for the rest of the week is pretty much the same. It is raining ice pellets right now. Thank goodness for a reasonably full fridge, a good suplly of tea, and people who will deliver whatever else you might be missing. I was just watching the news and the Chinese government is worried about power shortages due to the weather. Let's hope that this for the northern regions and not Shanghai.
