UFO #11

Ok... so it has been awhile since I have worked on some unfinished sewing projects. Because I am preparing to go back to Vancouver very soon, I am going through my belongings and trying to decide what comes with, and what remains behind. While I was doing this sorting process, I found a small cross stich Christmas ornament that I think I started last year. So while this is not one of those projects that has been sitting unfinished for a very long time, it was still unfinished. Yesterday, and the day before, I put in a few hours to fill in some of the holes, backstitched the whole thing and cut out the shape of the santa. Done.

I also have with me some squares that need some hand work for a project that I started while I was living in Alert Bay in 2001. I need an iron (and don't have one here) to attach the paper to the fabric, so decisions have to be made ( buy an iron here, make a friend- borrow an iron, or take the fabric and paper with me??). Whatever I decide, the remaining 6 squares are in Phoenix, with the sewing machine, so there is only so much that I can do towards completing this UFO for the next year.
